I know everyone is still feeling from the whole Juliette situation, but I can’t stop thinking about the fact that the King said the Queen is dead, and then the King is murdered. Does that mean Viktor is now King? I WANT TO SEE THAT SO BAD!! He killed mayor players, the Verat leader, as his beginning point as Prince. It is going to be a crazy-ass war with lots of violence and bloodshed if he is declared King. Or am I wrong? Viktor might not cause a fuck-storm?
By my reckoning, Viktor should be King.
Viktor should also be out for blood, considering he was recalled back to Vienna and removed from the action of hunting for Diana, the most important thing that has happened to the Royals in centuries. It wasn’t even handled in the most polite manner, and that would have undermined his power within the Family. If he is King, he will be looking to do anything to regain the power over, and trust of, the other Family members.
So, yes, blood shed all around. Someone might even challenge Viktor for the throne, causing a civil war, which would be interesting. The Royals don’t work as one unified force, even within Sean’s Family, and we haven’t seen any others, but an actual out and out coup would create a scramble for the Keys, for Diana, for Grimms and for other sources of power, giving the Resistance a key opening to attack. They’ve already managed to kill the King and steal Diana, a divided Royal Family could spell their downfall, and the repurcussions of that slow downfall will create all sorts of havoc within the Wesen community. I suspect the Wesen Council will be butting it on everything as well.
