I wonder if the Grimm production/writing team planned this episode to be s05e05 because s01e05 was also about reinigen.

Hey there Grimmsters,

Content/Trigger warning for musophobia and possible attempted rape (opening of the episode) for Rat King

This is like Hank’s worst nightmare. A giant freaking rat.

So… basically these reinigen can like pull a mighty morphing power rangers and like… combine their woged selves into one large rat instead of a bunch of small rat-like wesen.

NO NO NO NO

I’m calling it now, they’re going to try to take out whatever part of her brain makes her a Grimm.

If you remember, we learned when Nick lost his powers that there is something different in his brain and his eyes that gives him his Grimm abilities. It’d be pretty easy (and by easy I mean a logical option) for a doctor who is also a wesen to figure out how to remove this ability.
