Greeting Grimmsters!

The Grimm Summer Ficathon starts in just two days, so here are some finalized guidelines for you to keep in mind as you get ready to post some amazing stories. For future reference, you can find this and other relevant Ficathon information in the links on our Keeping the Hiatus Grimm page.

How It Works

Throughout the summer, FYNB will be accepting prompt ideas for the ficathon. Please submit your prompt ideas to the ask box. Submissions can be anonymous, but if you would like to get credit for your prompt, submit it publicly or sign your ask with the name you prefer to be given credit under.

On the first Friday of each month, I will post a list of prompts: one for each week in that month. From the moment the prompts are posted, the ficathon is on!

Fics may be posted anywhere. However, in order for fics to be reblogged to FYNB, they must be posted to tumblr as a text post or link post and tagged grimmsummerficathon2016 along with the number of the week (for instance, week 1).

In order for your submission to show up in the tag, it must be among the first five tags on your post.

I have also created a collection on AO3.

At the end of each seven-day period, I will check the tag and start queueing up submissions to be reblogged to FYNB.

Rules

1. Only submissions posted and tagged according to the guidelines above will be reblogged.
2. Do not send an ask, submission, or fanmail of your fic or a link to your fic directly to FYNB. Any such submissions will be deleted immediately.
3. Absolutely no fics that depict sexual situations involving underage individuals will be allowed in the AO3 collection or reblogged to FYNB.
4. Please tag your submissions as thoroughly as possible for characters, ships, and content. This will aid us in the reblogging process.
5. Under no circumstances should you post or submit someone else’s work as your own.

FYNB admins reserve the right to refrain from reblogging any work that violates these rules on FYNB, or remove it from the collection on AO3.
