grimm took a turn for the worse when it got super dark in season 5 and 6, to me it was never the same after that

It definitely took a darker turn in overall tone, although I think the shift happened earlier in mid-season 4. I didn’t mind that so much, though. And I do think it got back some of that season 1 magic in season 6.
