Sorry to bother you, I just wanted to ask you if you thought there was a chance, even a tiny one, for Nick & Juliette to get back together after all the mess that happened in S4/S5? I’m asking because both David & Bitsie confused me at SDCC, they both had different opinions about Eve’s situation. David was all about Nick & Juliette, even when the question wasn’t about them, he was talking about how things will change if Juliette is back, long story short: he was shipping it like he always do 1/2

But then, you have Bitsie, who was pretty cold about anything related to their relationship (my guess is because of all the bullying she’s been through, but I won’t elaborate on that), so idk who to believe, David or Bitsie lol? Which is why I wanted you opinion and what you think could possibly happen? Like I said, I’m personally confused, especially because sometimes, what David says is more wishful thinking than legit tiny spoilers so… 2/2

Hi Anon! Admin Liza here. So as a general rule, there are three important things you need to remember about anything that is said by members of the Grimm cast, crew, writers, etc during summer hiatus, and that includes SDCC:

1. They are contractually forbidden from revealing any real information about the next season.

2. They probably don’t even know everything yet themselves, because they haven’t finished writing the episodes, much less filming them.

3. They are lying liars who lie.

So if you’re feeling confused about the information and demeanor of the actors surrounding particular plot points, it’s probably because they’re trying to keep us confused and guessing. And, yes, they probably all have their own ideas about where they’d like things to go. Because let’s face it: they’re all fans of the show, too. They watch it together and they’re invested in these characters and their story.

So I can understand David wanting his ship back together, and I can understand Bitsie wanting Juliette/Eve’s character arc to soar on its own, and not get buried in a romantic subplot. Silverhardt are cute as hell and we love them, but Bitsie didn’t have a whole hell of a lot to do as Juliette in the majority of episodes before their relationship’s tumultuous end. And with a possible series finale looming at the end of just thirteen episodes, it’s unlikely there would be time to address and resolve Juliette’s journey as a character fully and deal with the question of Silverhardt’s relationship status. So I can see why she’d be a little cold toward the idea of trying to go there.

Still…you never know! Maybe the writers will pull it off somehow. Maybe they’ll surprise us with something none of us have thought of. Wouldn’t be the first time! Or maybe the ratings will be good enough to convince the network to order more episodes, and this won’t be the end after all…I mean, no one ever thought Grimm would get a season two, let alone a season six, so anything is possible!

I don’t like Juliette, but I really liked eve. And now eve is gone and Juliette is back. :(

The bad news (for you) is, it does indeed look like Juliette is back. The good news (for all of us) is, that doesn’t necessarily mean Eve is gone completely.

Eve was and still is a part of Juliette. In a way, Eve was what was left of Juliette after you shut down her love, her anger, her impulsiveness, her passion and curiosity–in short, all the things that made her human–and replaced them with a singleminded sense of control that was built on and held up by two things: intense training and an incredible amount of fear. In a very real sense, Eve wasn’t so much a character as a brainwashing program layered over severe PTSD.

That being said, having been Eve isn’t something Juliette is likely to forget easily. I think we’ll see glimpses of her from time to time, just as we saw glimpses of Juliette when Eve was in control.

I’m personally glad Juliette’s back, but I also hope the things she learned and understood as Eve aren’t gone completely. I think Eve’s intense control and Juliette’s sincere passion together would make them both stronger.

I didn’t ship nadalind, silverhardt all the way, but I don’t think the writers should kill off Adalind. It’s weird I don’t like her and I never have, but I feel like it would be a cheap cop-out, not to mention terrible writing, to kill of Adalind after her character arc however forced it was. I want them to complete her story in a way that works, not just kill her. Maybe this comes from being a writer but… they decided to develop her like that and now they should deal with it. Your thoughts?

Anon, I’m totally with you! I would much rather have the writers finish Adalind’s storyline in a way that makes sense, answers some questions, clears up some inconsistencies, and feels satisfying and worthy of everything that came before than just summarily kill her off and be done with it.

Killing her off would be lazy and wouldn’t even begin to do justice to the roller-coaster of an arc she’s been on over the last five years. No matter how they did it, it just wouldn’t feel like a good ending for her.

In fact, I’d rather the writers didn’t kill any member of Team Grimm…they’ve all had some incredible arcs, and just killing everybody–or even mostly everybody–at the end wouldn’t really fit with the tone and the story they’ve set up previously. So…yeah, let’s hope they don’t do that.

Am I the only one who really hopes we get a Rosalee and Juliette hug? Like, I really need Rosalee pulling Juliette in tight and just holding her, because her best friend is *back* and she’s *real*… like… I need that. I need Rosalee saying “I really missed you,” and Juliette saying, “I missed you too.” and the two friends finally being reuinted and…. AM I THE ONLY ONE LOOKING FORWARD TO A ROSALLEE AND JULIETTE HUG???

No, you definitely aren’t, anon! I would LOVE to see a Rosalee and Juliette reunion! Especially since Rosalee is the only person who seems to feel bad at all about what happened to Juliette, I’d love to see her reaction to realizing her friend is back, and I would LOVE it if there’s a big hug between them to show that they’re okay again, that they both have their best friend back.

Will you please gif all the Eve scenes from the finale, especially the scenes with her and Nick?? And VERY especially the scene where Nick carries her into the Batcave??? THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Unfortunately, my computer is getting really old and likes to do things like freeze and crash when I try to run Photoshop for too long at a time. So it might take a while to fill this request. But I’ll do my best to fill it! In the meantime, I have made a few gifs from the ep and a lot of others have as well, so check out this tag to see what I’ve reblogged/giffed already from the episode! ❤

BUT…. EVE BEING DEFENSIVE OF NICK. EVE BEING PROTECTIVE OF NICK. EVE BEING WORRIED/CONCERNED ABOUT NICK. EVE CHARGING IN TO SAVE NICK. NICK CARING ABOUT EVE. NICK WORRYING ABOUT EVE. NICK HOLDING EVE IN HIS ARMS. NICK SAVING EVE. NICK REALIZING THE GIRL IN HIS ARMS IS NO LONGER EVE. NICK SEEING JULIETTE BREAK OUT FROM THE WALLS SHE’S BEEN TRAPPED BEHIND ALL SEASON.

I KNOW ANON I KNOW. I’M STILL EMOTIONAL ABOUT IT. THE WAY HE LOOKS AT HER. THE WAY SHE LOOKS AT HIM. THE WAY HE CARRIES HER AWAY FROM DANGER. THE WAY HE REVEALS ONE OF HIS BIGGEST SECRETS IN ORDER TO SAVE HER. HIM. HER. I CAN’T OKAY. I CAN’T.

Hey there. So I saw the facebook live chat David and Sasha did a few weeks ago, and in it David said before they knew they would get renewed for season 6, the writers had written 2 different scenarios for the ending. My guess is that moment when Renard kills Bonaparte. Like, Renard could’ve killed Bonaparte out of his own free will to redeem himself with Team Grimm. What’s your take on it? My brother said it totally seemed forced that way, but I want to know what fellow Grimmsters think.

I hope if they wrote a different ending in case of cancellation, it changed more than just Sean choosing to help Nick. Because while that would have at least slightly given his character the option of being redeemed in my eyes, it wouldn’t have even remotely provided closure for the series’s multiple unfinished plot threads or any of the characters, including Sean.

So…if they wrote two different endings, I hope it was more like two different last-thirty-minutes, not two different last-three-seconds.

I’m confused by the fandom’s reaction to Renard…. If you don’t know why well go back and rewatch Grimm up until Renard joins team Grimm. We are finally seeing his true colors in all their glory: a cowardly, amoral, power hungry jerk who was only on the team because they were useful to him. Which is something I knew since the beginning and I’m usually awful at predicting shows as twisty as grimm can be.

Hi There Anon – Admin Liz here. I think the reaction comes from a feeling of betrayal. At least it does for me. While it’s always been clear that he’s been out for himself, he still had people who he seemed to care about (or at the very least trust and respect). He betrayed all of those people in this season.

Also, I’ve never considered him a pawn – he’s always had a lot of strength and confidence, especially in his power as person, half-Royal, and half-Zauberbiest. In this year’s finale specifically, he seemed to lose all dignity he previously had and just let Boneparte play him, and the people he had worked with the last four years (more with Nick, Hank, Wu, Meisner, and Adalind).

I, personally, have no real issue with him going full dark side. I don’t even really have a problem with him betraying Team Grimm, because you’re right, that’s not out of character for him at all. What I do have a problem with is that he suddenly lost all of his ferocity, and I kept waiting for him to at least bear his teeth, something, anything, to try to take some of the power that Black Claw promised him, but he didn’t. He was just as much of a hostage as Adalind, Diana, and Kelly, but unlike them, he was just rolling with it. He had no problem just rolling over for Boneparte and everyone else. There was none of that Sean Renard swagger that he’d always had.

So… yeah I guess that’s what I’m personally most upset about.
