I know she’s a little young for that but I can totally see Diana as a Silverhardt shipper. I mean she wants her parents back together so she doesn’t want her mum to be with Nick. Also she cares for Eve and knows that Eve is in pain cause Nick is not her boyfriend anymore. All in all it’s pointless but it’s kind of sweet.

I can definitely imagine Diana wanting Juliette and Nick to be together because maybe then her parents will be together, especially earlier on.

I don’t think she fully accepted it until “Blind Love,” tbh. When she tells her father, “I guess we all love each other,” I think that was her coming to understand and accept that her mother and father aren’t going to be together, and that that’s okay, because they both love her and she loves them, and Nick loves her brother who she also loves…and that’s enough for her.

One of the coolest things about her character is how quietly inquisitive she is. She’s very realistic as a child in that way: she doesn’t just, she just wonders, and asks questions, and shifts her worldview to accommodate new information. Adults go kicking and screaming when you try to change their minds about something, but all you have to do for most little kids is take the time to explain it the right way.

And that’s very much Diana. When an adult takes the time to explain something to her, as long as that something makes sense she’ll accept it and move on without a lot of fuss. And I think that’s what she’s done with her parents, although I’m sure a part of her still wishes that she could see both of them all the time and see them happy together.

Congratulations, Grimm. You officially fucked it up. There’s no way in hell I can forgive this show for killing it’s two (it’s ONLY important) characters of colour. This show was, diversity-wise, not great from the beginning but this… this is unacceptable. If you go ahead and kill the rest of Team Grimm as well, I might be a little less mad, but I really don’t see that happening. Congratulations, Grimm, I officially hate this episode.

Agreed, agreed, AGREED. I’m so angry. And sad. Mostly angry.

Like…couldn’t they have mixed it up and had them LIVE for a damn change? It doesn’t help that that scene was…well, it wasn’t great. I got what they were going for, but it made no sense to me. I get why Hank couldn’t be saved by the Stick, but why does Nick just sit there and stare at Wu while he’s still alive and could be healed instead of HEALING HIM!?

As cheesy as I think Total Rewinds are, I want a fucking Total Rewind ending to Grimm now because it’s the only way to fix this first and foremost, as well as a few other things they’ve left broken here at the end.

Hi I’ve just watched the episode where Juliette/Eve is at the hospital and I got so many Nickette feels! It’s pretty obvious that he still feels something for her.

Isn’t it, though? Nick never really dealt with their relationship or how it ended, and it’s painfully obvious that he has some unresolved feelings there. Even as far along in the season as the last two episodes, it’s clear that whatever’s happening now, a part of him still loves Juliette. And probably always will.

I love how when Monroe is getting so offended by her bringing in those books that my first thought was “Monroe you can ground her later sweetie, first get Eve out.of Mirror land.”

Right? Priorities, Monroe.

(Although tbh Monroe is so going to be that parent who’s always getting hung up on the details of the wild thing his kid did and forgetting to deal with the context of the situation. Assuming he survives to see them be born.)

I actually knew someone who was in the pilot episode of Grimm. (the girl’s grandfather-the person playing him was mark Lewis, a storyteller who sadly Is dead now.)

That’s so cool that you knew him! And so sad that he’s passed.

From his Wikipedia page:

Mark Lewis (February 16, 1954 – December 7, 2014) was an American storyteller, actor, and teacher.

He began his storytelling career while a student at John Muir High School in Pasadena, California, winning regional drama competitions with his telling of “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” and “Jabberwocky”, two pieces that became staples of his professional storytelling repertory. In 1971, he formed a performing partnership with singer-songwriter-actor Craig Coulter, and together, as Coulter & Lewis, they developed an enthusiastic local following performing songs (some original), poetry, children’s stories, and skits.

Lewis was part of the Renaissance Pleasure Faires that took place in Agoura, California in the 1970s – 1990s, serving first as the black-hooded and silent Executioner. He later took on speaking roles that allowed him to share his storytelling gifts with Faire-goers. Lewis received two Emmy Awards for his show “Word Pictures” on WTTW in Chicago, and he had a syndicated radio show.

He was a featured performer on the TV series Northern Exposure on CBS and Leverage on TNT (as Santa/Jack in "The Ho Ho Ho Job”, 2012). Lewis was an illustrator and he wrote four books, among them Kaliban’s Christmas: A Special Tale of Magic (Puffin Books, 1987), The Secret of the Quilt (Book One of The Counterpane Collection) with illustrations by Laura Kelly (Laughing Moon Productions, 1992), and the ibook Anna and the Sun (Lulu.com, 2011).

I know it’s a serious trailer and all (and it’s definitely sad, I expected some deaths but actually not what we’ve seen so far) but the way Adalind/Claire yells “run!” in that promo sounds so weird that it almost amuses me? I don’t know! I do wonder if that’s purposeful misdirection though seeing as it implies that Adalind will get killed and while I think her dying to protect her children does seem ic I’m not sure if they’d show it in the trailer?

Yeah…I noticed the editing is a little weird there. It seems like it’s supposed to be almost a slow motion effect? Or like the scream has been isolated from all the other sound? But it’s hard to tell, there’s so little context to go by and there’s so much going on.

It looks as though Zerstorer is standing behind her and about to run her through with the staff, and she’s making it her last act to warn everyone that he’s coming.

But again. It’s hard to tell. A couple of years ago the promo editors had me convinced Nick was going to shoot Juliette in their living room, so…trailers lie and anything can happen.

I’m so torn between wanting to watch the finale and be surprised and wanting to wait and make sure Juliette’s and Nick are okay before I finish.

I don’t know what to tell you…I mean on the one hand I want to scream “watch it watch it!” Because I’m excited. But on the other hand, I understand wanting to know what you’re getting into before you jump feet-first.

That being said, as of 6×11 they were in a pretty good place with each other. Not a romantic place, but they finally hashed some things out and a lot of pain and blame was put to bed.
