Is Bitsie the lead female on the show?

I’m not really the right person to ask, Anon. I don’t write the actors’ contracts or sign their paychecks! She’s the first-billed of the women in the cast on the Grimm NBC website, IMDB, and the show’s Wikipedia page, but Grimm is really more of an ensemble show at this point and has been since season 2, so while David is indisputably the lead, it’s hard to say what order, if any, the rest of them fall into.

Fun fact, though: After David, the next person consistently billed on the cast list is Russell Hornsby!

Sorry to bother you, I just wanted to ask you if you thought there was a chance, even a tiny one, for Nick & Juliette to get back together after all the mess that happened in S4/S5? I’m asking because both David & Bitsie confused me at SDCC, they both had different opinions about Eve’s situation. David was all about Nick & Juliette, even when the question wasn’t about them, he was talking about how things will change if Juliette is back, long story short: he was shipping it like he always do 1/2

But then, you have Bitsie, who was pretty cold about anything related to their relationship (my guess is because of all the bullying she’s been through, but I won’t elaborate on that), so idk who to believe, David or Bitsie lol? Which is why I wanted you opinion and what you think could possibly happen? Like I said, I’m personally confused, especially because sometimes, what David says is more wishful thinking than legit tiny spoilers so… 2/2

Hi Anon! Admin Liza here. So as a general rule, there are three important things you need to remember about anything that is said by members of the Grimm cast, crew, writers, etc during summer hiatus, and that includes SDCC:

1. They are contractually forbidden from revealing any real information about the next season.

2. They probably don’t even know everything yet themselves, because they haven’t finished writing the episodes, much less filming them.

3. They are lying liars who lie.

So if you’re feeling confused about the information and demeanor of the actors surrounding particular plot points, it’s probably because they’re trying to keep us confused and guessing. And, yes, they probably all have their own ideas about where they’d like things to go. Because let’s face it: they’re all fans of the show, too. They watch it together and they’re invested in these characters and their story.

So I can understand David wanting his ship back together, and I can understand Bitsie wanting Juliette/Eve’s character arc to soar on its own, and not get buried in a romantic subplot. Silverhardt are cute as hell and we love them, but Bitsie didn’t have a whole hell of a lot to do as Juliette in the majority of episodes before their relationship’s tumultuous end. And with a possible series finale looming at the end of just thirteen episodes, it’s unlikely there would be time to address and resolve Juliette’s journey as a character fully and deal with the question of Silverhardt’s relationship status. So I can see why she’d be a little cold toward the idea of trying to go there.

Still…you never know! Maybe the writers will pull it off somehow. Maybe they’ll surprise us with something none of us have thought of. Wouldn’t be the first time! Or maybe the ratings will be good enough to convince the network to order more episodes, and this won’t be the end after all…I mean, no one ever thought Grimm would get a season two, let alone a season six, so anything is possible!
