Last summer, Universal released Grimm – The Complete Collection in limited-edition packaging designed to resemble one of the journals from Aunt Marie’s trailer.

On July 3rd, Universal will re-release all six seasons of Grimm in a regular edition boxed set for $99.98 (DVD) and $129.98 (Blu-Ray).

The set comes with tons of bonus features, including deleted scenes, gag reels, documentaries, behind-the-scenes features, the “Meltdown” webisodes, and more. So…what are fans who didn’t get the limited-edition set missing out on?

Although both the DVD and Blu-Ray boxed set are much cheaper than the limited editions, all on-disc content will be the same. So if you missed the first release, don’t despair! Looks like only thing you’ll really be missing is the sweet packaging–which, while Grimm-tastic, may not be worth the $75-$95 more to fans with limited budgets.

(Especially since you can now obtain that set for less than $50 at many online retailers, and on eBay.)
