I want to know more about how wesen are with the animals they’re based on. Like, there was that one Season 1 episode where the rat guy could control rats (one of my fav episodes, tbh), but was that a fluke? Or do all wesen have a special relationship with their animal?
Like, would a wild wolf wag its tail at Monroe? Could Bud raise an army of waddling beavers if he wanted? When Rosalee goes camping, does she wake up to find a bunch of fluffy foxes asleep in a cuddly pile next to her? These are important questions.

The one question that will haunt me after the series finale: IS MONROE HIS FIRST OR LAST NAME?????
I’m almost positive that Monroe is his first name. I mean, I can see friends and acquaintances, even someone’s wife, calling them by their last name if that’s what they were used to calling them…but even his parents called him Monroe, which would be difficult to explain.
That being said, at this point I almost want them to never tell us. Just let it be an eternal mystery and quirk of the Grimm fandom, that we never learned for certain what Monroe’s other name was or even which name “Monroe” even was. Because he’s been “just Monroe” for so long I’m not sure any possible surname or first name would be satisfying.
So the big question: WHY IS JULIEVE MASQUERADING AS RENARD?
There are a lot of little threads running through this season for the different characters. For instance:
- Is Rosalee’s “old friend” from the past gone for good, or will he be back?
- Will Adalind tell Nick about her powers returning before he finds out on his own?
- Is Meisner still daydreaming about Adalind?
- Will Sean really join up with Black Claw in order to get Diana back, or is he playing them?
- Is Adalind going to go off the deep end again in order to get Diana back?
- Where is Trubel? Is she coming back this season?
- Does baby Kelly have any powers of his own?
Hopefully we get some answers before the season is over!
So at the end of last week’s episode, it looked like maybe Wu was in for a bout of lycanthropy. Pretty sure this storyline won’t be resolved/revealed fully until “The Taming of the Wu,” but do you think Wu will realize something weird is going on? If he does, do you think he’ll feel comfortable telling anyone on Team Grimm? And if so, who would he tell first?
Well…that was a doozy of an episode, Grimmsters.
AT LEAST WE NOW KNOW WHERE TRUBEL IS!
But what on EARTH was Meisner doing holding her captive?!
And ready…what did he mean ready? Ready for what, exactly?
Also WHERE THE HELL IS JULIETTE’S BODY AND WHY DID THEY TAKE IT.
THIRTY. MINUTES.
What is Meisner’s deal?!
ONE HOUR TILL GRIMM!!!
Burning Questions from 5×01, “The Grimm Identity”
- Where is Trubel?
- Why did they take Juliette’s body and Kelly’s head?
- What actually is this secret organization Chavez works for? What do they want? How do they fit into the grand scheme of factions?
- Why is Meisner working with them? I thought he was Resistance? Does that mean they’re Resistance?
- Where is Trubel?
- Who/what was in that cell? Did it sound like a Hexenbiest to anyone else?
- Where is Diana Schade?
- Is Juliette really and truly dead?
- Who killed all those people Chavez was going to meet?
- What did the marking on the wall mean?
- Where is Trubel?
- Is Adalind really truly going to turn over a new leaf, or is she just manipulating Nick to get his protection?
- Do hexenbiest powers negatively affect the person who has/uses them? Because it kinda seems like it??? Adalind is nicer when her powers are gone/suppressed/not being used a lot, they cause Juliette to do awful things she would never otherwise do, and Adalind seemed to think that she couldn’t be a good mother unless she gave them up?
- Speaking of hexenbiests, is Baby Kelly (*sob*) a potential grimm? A zauberbiest? Something entirely new?
- Will the superpowered offspring of Adalind Schade rule the world one day?
- What the hell was with that hand at the end?
- WHERE
- IS
- TRUBEL?!?!
So my theory regarding hexengrimm babies (assuming such a child has even happened before this) is that normally, the grimm blood would overrule the hexenbiest and the kid would be a grimm, or even just plain human (like they almost cancel each other out, like maybe they’re opposing sides of the same magic, okay okay ignore me and my pet headcanon).
But in this case…who even knows? Because Adalind is way more than she was when Nick took her powers, and Nick is way more than HE was at that time, too. So who even knows.
