is Eve supposed to be a brainwashed Juliette or a doppelganger?

According to this interview with David Greenwalt, the first one. The person we saw is Juliette in that she’s in the body of the person we’ve always known. But she’s also not Juliette in the sense that she’s been completely broken down into someone who doesn’t relate to Juliette at all, who sees Juliette as someone who is dead. She has all of Juliette’s memories, but not the emotions attached to them.

This kind of makes sense, actually, as Juliette was already losing herself more and more by the end of season 4. It sounds like she went through some pretty traumatic things in the few episodes she was missing, that have completely changed her personality as well as how she sees herself and the people who used to be important to her.

So I guess we’ll see to what extent that is true and whether it’s permanent!

I was thinking that too, I keep picturing her going through the house, picking up anything that looks like it belongs to Juliette and nick’s just fuming, off on the other side of the room, probably inserting some flashbacks or ghost things (like what Juliette saw of nick back in the day). now I really want a Grimm/Flash crossover to happen. I was so shocked that they brought him back! so cool.

Sadly, now I’m just imagining Caitlyn Snow in a room full of Damonfeuer, trying to convince them she’s one of them to get information for something or another.

I never thought I would get so attached to a trailer. it hurt seeing that happen and it hurts seeing the reruns (watching volcanalis and seeing Juliette just trying to remember nick and how adorable they are just brings tears to my eyes). all that history and knowledge from nick’s ancestors just gone. did josh’s father have any books? I can’t remember what they did with his stuff after the father died.

He did have two trunks worth of books and such for Nick (that’s why Josh’s father was so intent on finding him, besides handing over the key). We know they were able to save some things from the trailer, and that some of the books were at Rosalee’s shop and at Nick’s house, but a lot was lost.

The first time I saw Iron Hans, I compared losing the Trailer to Dean and Sam permanently losing the Impala. Or the Doctor losing his TARDIS. It’s more than just a thing – it’s a character within itself. With a story to tell and so much history.

We had a mild identity crisis at FYNB after the Trailer burned because our liveblogging tag was “Liveblogging from Aunt Marie’s Trailer.” We’ve had to change it since then.

Team Grimm’s job is going to be much harder from now on without all that knowledge at his disposal.

I’m going to finish this response with a shameless self advert of a vid I made after Iron Hans last year that I’m thinking I might update, but here ya go . It’s a farewell to the trailer. May it help you in these difficult times.

hello, how do you think it would play out if Ariel Eberhart ever came back? it seemed like they wanted her back sooner, but it didn’t happen. and as cool (haha, cool) as that would be, the fact the actress is rather busy might hinder a long term role.

I think if Ariel Eberhart came back it would be AMAZING because she was such a fun, unpredictable (funpredictable, forgive me) character to have around! I can just imagine her being cruel and mocking Nick over the loss of Juliette–which is terrible but it would fit with their past interactions and the history between them.

But I also agree that now that Danielle Panabaker is busy with The Flash full time, it would probably be difficult to fit filming an episode or episodes of another series into her schedule. That doesn’t keep my fangirl heart from wishing for a reappearance at some point. She’s high up on a list of seemingly one-off characters I would love to see return (I died of happiness when they brought back Lt. Orson).
