Okay so…I get how Roddy could hypnotize rats to attack on command. But how did two teenagers with no Wesen powers get rats to kill their teacher? Like…even if they were hungry most wild animals shy away from humans rather than attack them.
Jesus you can see rats running around in the background when the kids are talking outside.
The subtle, disdainful emphasis Nick puts on the word “privilege” he is done with these rich parents too.
You gotta wonder if Nick grew up a little like Roddy: always on the outside, always feeling different. In Nick’s case, never really knowing why.
So Nick actually does say later in the episode he was “different” growing up. I wish we got more about his childhood in the show.
