This is incredibly sad, but I can totally see this being canon. What little we know about Adalind’s childhood and her relationship with her mother suggests she was treated more like a tool than a daughter for most of her life. I mean, her mother basically disowned her the second she lost her powers, so it just doesn’t seem that far-fetched.

The thought of Marie worrying about Nick in the afterlife and wanting desperately to pass a message to him just hurts. I wonder what the message would say.

One of the things I loved about Juliette early on was how well she obviously knew Nick, how good she was at giving him just what he needed. Being supportive of the people she loved just seemed to be second nature to her.

Poor Nick…he’s so used to being the one to console that he doesn’t really know how to be the one who needs consoling.
