Slightly emptional about the fact that Farley Colt may not have been able to resist the pull of the coins, but he did hold out against Kimura’s torture for three days and still didn’t give Nick up.
I can’t say I’m sorry but I can say I FEEL YOUR PAIN OH MY GOD.
Literally there was no better time for Nick to tell BOTH of them IMO than in that episode. Hank saw what he saw, there was no putting any cats back in any bags. The options were let Hank think he was seeing things that weren’t there or TELL HIM THE TRUTH.
And I’ve ranted about this before, but Nick and Juliette were in a GOOD PLACE, and they were CALM, and she was OPEN TO THE IDEA of the supernatural, actively seeking it even. That would have been an INCREDIBLE time to tell her.
But no. That would just make too much sense!!
(Like yes I know Nick was operating based off what Monroe told him in Juliette’s case but in Hank’s case there was no excuse IMO. He had already seen things and was ALREADY freaking out. And it was the not knowing that was terrorizing him, not the knowing.)
Yay! I’m glad you’re enjoying it! I’ve been really loving rewatching and introducing it to a friend for the first time as well. We’re going to keep watching while he stays with me while I recover from surgery, and then he’ll keep watching and telling me his reactions once he goes back home. Highly recommend a rewatch, especially if you can do so while introducing it to a friend. It’s so fun to see their reactions and questions!
The Eisbibers give me such autumn vibes. You just know they would have the coziest homes and make the best apple cider.
