Reasons to watch Grimm:

  • Marketed incorrectly as a drama/horror/fantasy show when it is a comedy
  • Uses Papyrus font
  • Can’t align font correctly
  • Disregard for law enforcement from law enforcement
  • Polyamory is Strong
  • Drew Wu and Hank Griffin (both cops of color) are still alive somehow
  • There’s a lot of pain involved so you can’t get attached to recurring characters because 99% of them actually die
  • Just death in general
  • Plots based on different myths/fairytales from different cultures throughout the world
  • No character in the main group has been killed off for plot development
  • Is literally the Biggest Mess you’ll ever watch
  • What the fuck is a Nick Burkhardt
  • Makes you cry over White Men even when you swore to yourself that you wouldn’t ever
  • Just an Emotional Ride
  • Shirtless rage

3.06 Stories We Tell Our Young

This! This right here is the Grimm we fell in love with. This has similar energy to Nick’s appeal to the Eisbibers in season 1. His abilities as a protector and negotiator to resolve conflicts was always more interesting to me than the whole “decapitare” side of being a Grimm.

Grimm (2013) Issue #0
Nick Burkhardt & Hank Griffin

Okay first of all, WTF this is so cute this is married behavior.

And second of all, wow the Grimm comments really said “I recognize that this is a story about a cop but that doesn’t mean we have to be nice about cops” and that’s very sexy of them.
