Another fun thing from the first season that I miss in later seasons? Monroe is doing something peaceful at home, minding his own business. Nick interrupts him for Grimm nonsense. He grumbles. Then helps.

They were really pushing us to look at Juliette as sort of a Red Riding Hood/damsel character in the beginning. She wears these really saturated jewel-toned reds SO much for those first few episodes.

Juliette going to check up on Marie, checking in with Nick, encouraging him to feel how he feels instead of putting on a happy face for everyone else.

Knowing what Wesen see when they woge in front of Nick changes everything tbh. We know what they’re reacting to now.

I really need to make a list of little Hank Facts we get throughout the show.

They literally have one of the Rabe family members say “someone’s been sleeping in our bed.”

I will never stop being sad that they dropped Nick’s profiling skills after season one. It was a neat part of his characterization that I really miss.

Neurotoxins like from a spider bite? D’you ever wonder if they got a Spinnetod to donate some venom to that cause?

Okay I seriously got an incest vibe from these two burglars. The way the guy said “our parents” just didn’t imply the sense of separate sets of parents that you hope for when two people start stripping each other’s clothes off.
