I think the opening dialogue bothered me so much because Grimms aren’t like slayers. The opening claims that Nick is the only person who can see these things and do these things, but that isn’t true. There are multiple Grimms, all across the world. It’s not like slayers where there is only one and a new one gets called when the current one dies.
