Hiya Grimmsters!

We’re working hard over here at FYNB to keep the excitement up until Season 5 premieres this fall! Without further ado, we’d like to introduce our 2015 Keeping the Hiatus Grimm Graphic Challenge!

Here’s what you need to know:

– Message FYNB (attn: Admin Liz) to sign up for each round of the challenge.

– Please be respectful of the submission deadline. If you can’t make the deadline, please send us an ask or fan mail (attn.: Admin Liz) letting us know.

– Each artist can send in up to three submissions per round.

– There will be five rounds of challenges, each with a different theme. Winners will be announced on FYNB every other Wednesday starting July 8.

– Submissions must be made by 11:59 pm US Eastern Standard Time on the date of the deadline.

– All graphics will be submitted via our Submit page and should include your url and the round number.

– Please note, submitting a graphic to the challenge gives FYNB permission to use the graphic for challenge purposes only, including but not limited to posting on FYNB’s social media channels and use in our winner badge for that round. Proper artist sourcing will be given.

Winners for each round will receive:

– A promo on FYNB’s Tumblr and Twitter (of both your graphic and your blog)!

– An awesome badge for your blog telling the world that you won that round of FYNB’s 2015 Graphic Challenge! (Please have your submit box open or be willing to give us an email address so that we can send this to you).

– The winning graphic for each round will be displayed on FYNB’s “Keeping the Hiatus Grimm” page until the Grimm Season 5 premiere!

And, finally, here is the Challenge Calendar:

Round One (deadline Tues., July 7): Team Grimm (Nick, Hank, Monroe, Rosalee, Juliette, Renard, Wu, Trubel, Bud, or the overall team)

Round Two (deadline Tues., July 28): Ship or OTP (canon or not canon)

Round Three (deadline Tues., August 11): Recurring Villain (has openly acted against Team Grimm in 2 or more episodes)

Round Four (deadline Tues., August 25): Wesen Species

Round Five (deadline Tues., September 8): Recurring Character (a character who is not a member of Team Grimm and who has appeared in at least two episodes in a speaking role)

This is a deep, dark and mainly chilled out mix, that rises to sharp intensity before falling back down. I’ve tried to show Monroe’s anger, his sadness, his passion and the other things he tries to control with pilates and cello music.

Also known as Opiliones, harvestmen are an order of arachnid with over 6,500 distinct species, many of which are part of the group known colloquially as “daddy longlegs” or “granddaddy longlegs.” They are also often called “shepherd spiders.” Despite this, they are actually not spiders, although they are similar in many respects at first glance. Various species of Opiliones live on every continent of the planet except Antarctica.

According to urban legend, harvestmen are the most venemous spiders on earth, but are unable to bite humans due to the shape and extremely small size of their mouths. In actuality, no known species of harvestmen possess venom glands. Furthermore, their “fangs” are actually grasping claws, and are too weak to pierce human skin.

Harvestmen are an incredibly old species, and have changed little in the last 165 million years or so.

Okay, Hank is fading from existence, Oran is gone, someone was behind it but who? The case is solved but so many questions are still unanswered!
