I CAN’T BELIEVE THE CHAPTER ENDED LIKE THAT.
NICK IS HURT. WILL HE BE OKAY?

This is really well-done actually…a domestic abuse situation involving a man being abused by a woman in which the man is not belittled, and finds the strength to stand up to his abuser without resorting to violence or other elements of toxic masculinity, or asserting his “manliness” or “dominance” by using misogynistic slurs.
Now that’s the kind of content I like to see.
SAVE HIM MONROE SAVE HIM OH GOD.
Oh shit what’s in the woods with them?!
OH MY GOD HOLD HIS HAND. HOLD IT. JESUS.
“penitent and puppy-like” is the most goddamn accurate description of Nick Burkhardt’s face I have ever read
Withholding potato salad, Monroe? That’s just too cruel.
I need to know what’s behind all these curious, strange, fleeting, hard-to-read looks Monroe keeps giving Nick, dammit!
When Nick and Monroe’s thorough search of the woods yields only a charming, country graveyard and some feelings Nick isn’t quite sure how to process, he begins to think his Grimm instincts have let him down. If only he’d remembered how often danger finds him when he isn’t looking for it…
The plot begins to thicken!
Potential threat neutralized.
WOW Nick. Getting a tad possessive, are we?
