Seriously this episode is just a perfect jumping off point for a Monhardt fic. 😠If I didn’t already have like 10 WIPs I’d write it.
Nick and Monroe chatting about the case of the week while Monroe folds laundry AAAAAAGH. Monroe complaining about Nick’s socks getting mixed in with his stuff! They’re so domestic! I can’t.
Truly best thing to come out of all the pain of season 2.
I realized I didn’t have a good gif of Nick’s little smirk, so I fixed it.
I s2g I think they re-dress and re-use the set of Nick and Juliette’s house for other interiors constantly. 😂
That Grimm gene working overtime! Nick’s been without his sight for less than half a day and he already has super hearing.
He also seems to have an INSANE pain tolerance.
So uh. Trying to eat spaghetti with red sauce during this episode was. A Mistake.
Poor Juliette! 😠She’s going through so much and she can’t trust her own mind and she’s so ALONE because nobody can tell her everything. It’s so tough to watch.
Juliette coming to Rosalee for help! 😠This is the start of a beautiful friendship.
Seeing Adalind’s pregnancy storyline and related plotting really makes me think of Sean’s mom and what that must have been like. Did she contemplate using her son as a bartering chip? Did she have to hide her pregnancy or who the father was, because of how valuable her child would be to all the wrong people? Was she alone and young and scared? Was Frederick there for her at all?
I gotta hand it to Claire Coffee. She is queen of subtle face acting for an unsubtle character, which makes Adalind so fun to watch even when I’m mad at her. 😂 She makes Adalind seem transparent without overacting, which is hard to do!
This little twist to her mouth when she’s about to get exactly what she wants (or thinks she is), like she’s trying not to appear too giddy. The way her smile is just a little too tight when she talks about her mother. The way her whole face falls when Frau Pesch can tell she has no powers just by looking at her. She really owns every scene she’s in, even if all she’s doing is sitting on a couch having a conversation.
