For all those who think Nick would never have forgiven Juliette, I’d like to refer you to the absolute heartbreak on his face as the woman he loved for years–whatever she’d done in the last couple of weeks–died in his arms while choking out his name one last time.

He would have forgiven her. It would have been hard, maybe, it would have taken time. But he would have forgiven her.

This. Absolutely this.

GodDAMN. First his mother, now his long-term girlfriend. Just watch Adalind miscarry their baby, too.

QUIET. THE WRITERS MIGHT HEAR YOU. SHUSH.

Disagree. We know he wasn’t willing to kill her, but I don’t think their relationship was ever going to get back to where it was. He might have been willing to live and let live provided she didn’t do any more damage, but Juliette clearly wasn’t. She went back to the house for closure, however it ended up. I think she was done with him.

The saddest part is, I think Juliette legit went to the house hoping Nick would kill her, and when he didn’t that just set her off again.

I don’t think Juliette was anywhere near actually wanting to come back, and I don’t think for a second they would have gotten back to where they were before. That’s not how relationships work; once a thing like that is broken it’s never quite what it was before, even if you do get to a good, new place eventually.

But that doesn’t mean that if she had wanted to come back, he wouldn’t have forgiven her. I really think he would have.

replied to your post “Who do you think is going to save Nick from Juliette or dying, trying…”

David still ships Nick/Juliette so there’s still hope.

^^^^^^^^^^

They’re dating in real life so this is like—hella awkward.

“Sorry I had to pretend to try and kill you.”

“Sorry I had to pretend to die in your arms.”

BAHAHA thank you SO MUCH. I needed a giggle. And just imagining those two being like “okay time to play like we’re SUPER ANGRY and WANT TO MURDER EACH OTHER but also REALLY SAD ABOUT IT” gives me life. So thanks.

That scene was just fucking painful, okay. And THAT…the woman who just died in Nick’s arms…THAT was Juliette…and she looked so confused…like she didn’t know what was happening or why…and Nick’s name was her last breath.

Oh god just leave me here to sob for the next FEW MONTHS.

Given the genre, I’m not going to believe it until she’s burned/buried and gone. There’s the Hexenbiest resurrection thing Sean’s mother pulled that Adalind might be able to swing once she gets rid of the tamper on her powers.

I’m in denial until proven otherwise. That’s just how it’s going to have to be.

I’m with you there! And I really hope you’re right…I’m in a similar denial. As far as I’m concerned, Juliette is only MOSTLY dead, and as we all know, mostly dead means slightly alive. At least for the next few months.

(Although I shudder to think of what might hitch a ride back in Juliette’s body with her from the afterlife. Oh dear.)
