@fuckyeahnickburkhardt, idk if you remember, but you had an anon asking if Sean’s woge changed over time (like, months ago). So, I used my third rewatch to take a screenshot (almost) every time he woges.
The first time we see him woge is in 2×2 and it looks like this:

In season 2 we get more woges (is that even the right word) in 2×8 and two times in 2×13 – all in super dark lighting, so you just have to believe me when I say that the only changes are because of his healing injuries.
Then we have 2×20 where it was actually possible to take a decent screenshot.
We can’t see much of a change here either, so just have a look at the other side of his face.
I couldn’t really get good screenshots in 3×1, 3×2, 3×18, 3×19.
This one is from 3×21. I think the part on the right side got a little bigger compared to 2×20? It definitely goes down to his jaw now, but idk how much is just because shitty quality.
In 4×5 we get a good look at the part around his eye, but as far as i can tell it’s pretty much like before.
4×10 and 4×16 were, once again, pretty much impossible to screenshot with my non-existent skill.
In 5×6 we get this:
The part around his eye is weaker, but that’s because of the moment I took the screenshot. What definitely changed is the part on the right, there’s this very prominent… line thing-y now, that didn’t really exist at the beginning. (at least, it was not that prominent)

As I said, the eye-part didn’t really get weaker. BUT he’s apparently able to keep the left eye open now. It’s also a little open in 2×20, but not like this. (going through the screenshots before, this is the first time the left eye is open this wide. It looks again like this in 5×21, but the quality is awful)
Here’s a pic from 6×1:
and I’m not even sure what is different about this one, but something is. I think it’s the colour? (at least partly, may be because of the lighting)
In 6×3 both Sean and Nick woge (you know, verfluchte Zwillingsschwester and stuff) but I couldn’t get a decent picture.
The last time we see Sean woge is in 6×5.
And I think when you compare this to the first image(s), there is quite a bit of a difference. On one hand, it’s a lot greyer, less colourful. (Yes I know that basically applies to everything in the later seasons) On the other hand, there’s definitely some difference around his eye, it looks less like someone burnt off the skin and more like it’s somewhat dried? Like, almost mummified? Also, on the right we have this one “cut” again. And something else changed about that i think, but I can’t really figure it out.
So, in conclusion, I think his woge changed somewhat over the seasons but not to a degree where I would actually say “you fucked up there, friends”.

I want to know more about how wesen are with the animals they’re based on. Like, there was that one Season 1 episode where the rat guy could control rats (one of my fav episodes, tbh), but was that a fluke? Or do all wesen have a special relationship with their animal?
Like, would a wild wolf wag its tail at Monroe? Could Bud raise an army of waddling beavers if he wanted? When Rosalee goes camping, does she wake up to find a bunch of fluffy foxes asleep in a cuddly pile next to her? These are important questions.
2. He has a great “bedside manner” with witnesses.
3. No seriously Nick is always like, “Burkhardt OUT” after the witnesses talk to him while Hank is like “Thank you very much we appreciate it.”
4. Hank is really very good with people.
5. When Hank thought he was losing his mind, he went to see a therapist.
6. Like, he didn’t try to macho his way through it. He figured he needed help, so he got some.
7. He didn’t want to date Adalind until she put a spell on him because he didn’t want to take advantage of the fact that he saved her life.
8. Like, a beautiful woman was like “Date me” and he was like “Not that would be super unethical.”
9. He always has Nick’s back, even back when Nick wasn’t exactly being honest with him.
10. He had a good childhood and is a nice guy. The show didn’t go the “man pain” route with him which I like.
11. He has several ex-wives but he doesn’t seem to hate them or anything.
12. (At least one ex-wife is wesen, right? Right? We’re agreed on this?)
13. When he saw Renard’s wesen face, he was like, “Wow that’s cool” even though Renard is one of the scary looking wesen.
14. Heck, when Hank saw Renard tear that one guy to pieces in the “rescue Monroe from the hate group” episode, he was just like, “Cool.”
15. He’s really a very chill guy.
16. He’s afraid of rats, which is cute.
17. He and Wu hang out and go to bars, which is also cute.
18. Speaking of Wu, when Wu saw his first wesen and started freaking out, Hank was the only guy who was like, “Guys we have to tell him.” Everybody else was like “No.”
19. And eventually, what did they have to do? Tell Wu. So Hank was right all along.
“There was this guy that used to fix things around the house. He was always really nice to me, till, uh… One day he asked me to help him in the garage. And he grabbed me. I saw his face change. And, um… He pushed me down on the floor. But I was so scared by what I saw, that I just grabbed the first thing I could, which was a-a screwdriver. And really all I wanted to do was just push him away from me, but, um… He didn’t die… Or anything. He just… he didn’t get off me really fast, though. And that was the first time I heard anybody say “Grimm.” I told everybody what I saw. And that was the first time they locked me up. Said I was lying. And then when I said I wasn’t, they said I had to be crazy so… Yeah, I got pretty used to being crazy. Until I met all you guys. I realized I wasn’t alone.”
2. Like, seriously. When Nick has a problem that he can’t Grimm his way out of, he tends to throw up his hands and yell, “WOE!” And then go to Juliette, who solves it for him.
3. Example: Nick is getting sad emails from his mom. He can’t help her. He is filled with woe. So Juliette offers to help, and uses the emails to track down where Nick’s mom is.
4. Example #2: Juliette keeps getting attacked and kidnapped. Nick is like, “Trust me, it’ll be okay.” Juliette says, “Cool, teach me how to use a gun.”
5. Like seriously I love how practically Juliette deals with shit.
6. She’s supportive without being a pushover. In Season 1 she thought Nick was just going through a rough patch because Aunt Marie died. She gave Nick space and didn’t make him talk…….but when he asked her to marry him she said, “No, not until you can let me in again.”
7. She’s a vet, which is cute.
8. She also patches up humans. Like remember when Hank got stung by bees and she was like, “You are basically a puppy. I will care for you.”
9. She really loves to help people.
10. Nick and her friends, obviously. But also when she and Nick were on that vacation and she saw a woman being abused and she reached out to her and tried to help her.
11. Okay yes and she has hexenbiest powers now and that’s cool.
12. Like, I’m really into her powers and I want her to keep them forever.
13. But even before powers she was a bad ass.
14. She threw boiling water in an ogre’s face once.
15. Punched a dragon.
16. Was ALARMINGLY good at shooting a gun when she tried it for the first time like seriously I keep expecting that to become a thing.
17. Man she’s really forgiving too like all of her friends lying to her and her boyfriend lying to her and her boyfriend accidentally sleeping with another woman and all of that and she dealt with it.
18. Okay now she’s pretty vengeful but who can blame her?
19. She invited Monroe over for dinner because he helped save her life and idk that was just really cute.
20. She’s smart and sensible and a bad ass and cares about herself and about others and she’s just really great.
