Mishipeshu is one of those episodes in a fairytale/supernatural/fantasy show that really freaks you out because you’re always expecting the bad guy to be the supernatural creature. You’ve come to expect this inhuman cruelty to be coming from someone who isn’t totally human. And I’m not really sure you can consider the Mishipeshu the bad guy, even though it is doing the killing. 

So episodes like this really catch you off guard – really kinda freeze your blood because suddenly you’re reminded that despite the fact that this is a show where our heroes are always fighting a supernatural big bad, there are still plenty of terrifying humans around as well.

My favorite thing is when Team Grimm tries to pretend that they don’t understand or believe in supernatural phenomenon. 

lol Hank’s “possibly” is basically Hank saying nope it’s probably somehow Wesen related but I can’t say that out loud in front of you so, yes, it’s possibly dogs.

Nick: I could never hurt you, Juliette.
Juliette: I wish I could say the same. But I just don’t know anymore.
