Grimm Ultimate Fighter Poll: Round 2 Results

Results are in! The final results of round 2 are listed below.

In Poll 1, Nick Burkhardt absolutely demolished the competition with 95% of the vote. Decapitare much?

In Poll 2, Juliette swept with 83% of the vote. That’s my girl!

In Poll 3, Monroe came out on top with 53.6% of the vote. Good boy!

In Poll 4, Meisner killed it with 77.2% of the vote. Sorry Alice!

And in Poll 5, little Diana skewered the competition with 93.3% of the vote. I’m backing away slowly!

28 Days of Grimm – Day 10 (Favorite Monroe-ism)

serveandfolly:

Wasn’t sure if this referred to something Monroe said or an actual character trait of his, but I’m going to go with the former. Even though we don’t see him playing the cello often, it speaks so much to Monroe’s internal struggle: it’s a dark, soulful instrument, which speaks to both his wild and civilized natures.

I love how it refers back to the beautiful, darkly romantic song from the closing credits. (Aside: I wish there was a 5-minute version of that closing song.)

28 Days of Grimm, Day 9

Favorite Show Location: Monroe’s House

Something about the Big Bad Wolf having the coziest house just makes me smile. Monroe’s house quickly became a refuge for Nick, almost as soon as Monroe invited him in. He went there for help, for advice. For dinner. In season 2 he even lived there for a while!

Had his own room and everything!

And while Nick’s house was often where Shit Went Down, over the years Monroe’s became the place where Team Grimm went to get patched up, rested up, fed, and to be safe. That’s the kind of house I want to have someday, one my friends and family think of as a safe haven.

I also want those holiday decorations and that gorgeous door!

Day 8: Funniest Fandom In-Joke

Tell us what fandom inside joke or saying makes you cackle!

#just gotta be how it’s just Monroe lol #no other name just Monroe

@starkmartell bringing out the classics! Just Monroe was such a big thing in fandom that the writers themselves teased us with it at the dude’s wedding!

What does everybody think? Is he Something Monroe after he marries Rosalee? Or is he Mr. Monroe Calvert?

MonRosalee

Monroe and Rosalee are a true partnership of equals. Juliet is always at a disadvantage because she’s not part of the Grimm/Wesen world, so she’s dependent on Nick for knowledge and protection, and by the time Nick and Adalind get together, she’s solely dependent on Nick as well. But Monroe and Rosalee are courageous, intuitive and intelligent – they’re in it together.
