I love how when Monroe is getting so offended by her bringing in those books that my first thought was “Monroe you can ground her later sweetie, first get Eve out.of Mirror land.”

Right? Priorities, Monroe.

(Although tbh Monroe is so going to be that parent who’s always getting hung up on the details of the wild thing his kid did and forgetting to deal with the context of the situation. Assuming he survives to see them be born.)

I may not have a snowball’s chance in hell of getting anything tangible from the Grimm auction, but I sure did get a lot of good stills of the books and other props from the show! Including…

Monroe’s driver’s license!

Although those sneaky propmasters have neglected to include his full first name even on his driver’s license!

But we do know that he’s an organ donor, that he’s licensed to drive motorcycles as well, and that apparently whatever his first name is, it also starts with an M!

It still seems nonsensical to me that a person’s parents would call them by their last name, and that the pastor at their wedding would call out “Mr. and Mrs. Monroe–” if “Monroe” wasn’t his first name.

So…are we to believe that his full name actually is Monroe Monroe?

Oh Grimm Writers.

I know it would probably the spell but hearing Monroe talking about how much he admires Eve for everything she has been through and everything that she’s lost and managing to survive it. Such a beautiful moment and I wonder if Monroe really feels that way towards Juliette/Eve. That he really does admire her but the spell just brought that out and made him tell her.

I think it’s very possible he does feel that way! Just not in a romantic context. I mean, we know Juliette/Eve said things that she really felt or had thought at moments in the past while under that spell. And Wu didn’t just spontaneously learn poetry because of the spell…he had to have that in him prior to the spell.

So I don’t think it’s inconceivable that Monroe does admire Eve for surviving everything she’s been through and managing to come out stronger every time. It’s just not something he would have felt comfortable voicing to her otherwise, and certainly not in the context of a romantic declaration; pretty sure that part would never have occurred to him.
