I came to see if, you know, you needed any help.

Do you ever think about the fact that we never got to see a Silverhardt wedding and just. Get really really sad?
Nick and Trubel talking at the same time. :3
How old was Trubel when her birth parents were killed? Because, in a very conoluted fashion, Nick+Trubel being siblings may be possible
Well…Nick is 32, and Trubel is 21. Nick’s father died in March 1994, just after Trubel’s first birthday and a few months shy of Nick’s twelfth (going by the birthdays listed on the Grimm wiki). So in theory, Nick and Trubel could be related, but I only see two possibilities:
- One or the other of Nick’s parents was unfaithful, a child resulted from the affair, and the other partner kept Trubel after she was born.
- Nick’s mother got pregnant again and, knowing the danger her first child was already in, decided to conceal the pregnancy/fake a miscarriage and give the baby up for adoption.
The second one seems less likely if Kelly knew, as she probably did, that her daughter would almost certainly also be a Grimm; she would have been giving her up to parents who could not understand her or protect her once the Grimm powers came into play.
So I would guess that if Nick and Trubel are somehow related, it’s via infidelity on the part of one or the other of Nick’s parents. Technically, the dad would make more sense as it’d be easier in terms of, you know, no one noticing that Kelly was pregnant (including Nick, who would have been old enough to notice at the time). But then, we have no proof of whether Nick’s dad was a Grimm or not, so it’s difficult to say.
All in all, I find it pretty unlikely that they’re related, even though they do look a lot alike.
This post got some notes recently and I’m laughing because thanks to the finale, we now know they are related! Just not siblings. Cousins! 😊🤗
So I’m going through my gifs and clips of Grimm to fill some of the outstanding gif requests in my inbox, and Nick’s face when Eve says “I know you’re here because you loved me once,” Nick’s FUCKING FACE kills me every time. Like my god, can’t you see it, Eve? Can’t you see he never once stopped?!
I’ll never be over it.
#tell her you idiot
THIS. When fans defend Nick’s hurried 11th-hour confession in “Woman in Black” and ask “but when else could Nick have told her?” THIS WAS WHEN. This was the perfect moment. She was already questioning, already open to it.
But no. He waits until it’s a matter of life and death and she’s already disinclined to trust him, behaves erratically and freaks her the hell out. No wonder she didn’t believe him!
And that’s one of the most frustrating aspects of Nick’s character throughout the series. He never wants to be open and honest until the sky is falling down around his ears.
Okay but real talk there is nothing cuter than the double-handed fist bump Nick and Monroe give each other when Monroe comes to Nick’s house for dinner for the first time and they’re both trying to play it cool so that Juliette doesn’t get suspicious but instead they just act like giant awkward dorks and Juliette is clearly wondering what their damage is but Nick and Monroe are convinced that they are acting completely natural so when Juliette turns around they give each other a double-handed fist bump and look so proud of themselves even though Monroe spun around in a little circle moments before as Nick tried awkwardly to take his coat off.
I jut wish Nick and Juliette’s story could have ended like Bitsie’s and David’s. Is that so much to ask? :-(
I don’t think it’s too much to ask. Apparently the writers disagreed.
But at least we’ll always know that Bitsie and David are happy together in reality.
And hey, even if Nick and Juliette didn’t end up together in the end of the show, we do see that Juliette is still a part of Eve, and that Nick and Eve still hold a sincere affection for one another. I think we can safely assume they will always be a part of each other’s lives, no matter what happens.
Do you Ship Ian Harmon With Nick?
That…honestly never occurred to me. But I can actually see it. I mean, they have a lot in common. They both make decisions based on what they believe is right rather than what’s conventional or even legal. They also both live lives that make it difficult to maintain relationships.
So…I can’t say I ship it because I never really thought to, but I can totally see them having a thing. Whether it would last long or work very well or be ultimately healthy is another story all together.
