Similar, but slightly different. They both had face tentacles, but one ate memories and the other seems to eat…youth, somehow. Also he seems to use more of a proboscis whereas the other guy used these sucker-like things.

So obviously there is a specific step in the memory sucking process that Octopus Head didn’t have a chance to do to his victim or Trubel.

She’s a Grimm, Nick. Trubel is going to have a dangerous life whether you bring her into yours or not.
Octopus head isn’t having as easy of a job as I think he thought he was going to have. All these people keep getting in the way.
Juliette and Nick need to decide if they want him to be a Grimm again, or if they want to go back to their life before his powers.
What they don’t understand is that they can’t go back to how it used to be. Their life is irrevocably changed.
Trubel – just one more person who should be added to the Portland PD’s payroll s a consultant.
