is Eve supposed to be a brainwashed Juliette or a doppelganger?

According to this interview with David Greenwalt, the first one. The person we saw is Juliette in that she’s in the body of the person we’ve always known. But she’s also not Juliette in the sense that she’s been completely broken down into someone who doesn’t relate to Juliette at all, who sees Juliette as someone who is dead. She has all of Juliette’s memories, but not the emotions attached to them.

This kind of makes sense, actually, as Juliette was already losing herself more and more by the end of season 4. It sounds like she went through some pretty traumatic things in the few episodes she was missing, that have completely changed her personality as well as how she sees herself and the people who used to be important to her.

So I guess we’ll see to what extent that is true and whether it’s permanent!

What do you think would happen if a Grimm had a child with a full Wesen? What traits would the kid inherit?

Well, Anon…it’s hard to say, given what little we know about Wesen inherited traits even between different types of Wesen. Although I have a feeling we’re going to get at least some of this answered, considering that’s exactly what we have with Nick and Adalind’s child.

I can see three distinct possibilities:

  1. One side or the other will “win out,” as in the child will either present Wesen traits exclusively or Grimm traits exclusively.
  2. The two sides will cancel each other out completely, and the child will present only ordinary human traits.
  3. The child will have traits from both parents, so for instance they might be able to woge and have other abilities associated with their Wesen parent, but also be able to see the woges of others and inherit the strength and adaptability of Grimm as well.

It’s an interesting question! I can’t wait to see how the show handles it.

Hello!! I’ve been a Grimm fan since before season 1 finished, but only recently did I figure out there might have been a tumblr fanbase for it. Do you have any blog recommendations? Also I love your blog!

Uhh, there’s not so many Grimm-only blogs as there used to be.

@thegrimmnetwork

@wuyougottasaveus

are the only ones I can think of off-hand, but there are plenty of people (including the mods here) whose personal blogs are mainly Grimm.

Followers?

My theory as to why they handled Monroe the way they did was cause they heard about the LAST group that tried to kill him and what happened to them. (not sure HOW they heard but I’m betting that story was spread quickly through the community and it’s also possible that some pepole were part of both groups.) Also The Spice shop is the closest thing they HAVE to a wesen pharmacy so that could be another reason they didn’t destroy it.

You know…I think those are two really good theories. Then again, I wonder if the spice shop thing might be because it’s a Wesen business selling products specific to the Wesen community and culture, primarily to Wesen customers…whereas the other businesses that got hit all seemed to be Wesen-run businesses selling typical Kehrseite products to both Kehrseite and Wesen customers.

In fact, I get the distinct feeling that the Black Claw resent humans, assimilation and coexistence with humans, and the secrecy enforced on the Wesen community, and that their major goal is to completely overthrow that system. I mean, their motto is “Free the Hidden.”

I was thinking that too, I keep picturing her going through the house, picking up anything that looks like it belongs to Juliette and nick’s just fuming, off on the other side of the room, probably inserting some flashbacks or ghost things (like what Juliette saw of nick back in the day). now I really want a Grimm/Flash crossover to happen. I was so shocked that they brought him back! so cool.

Sadly, now I’m just imagining Caitlyn Snow in a room full of Damonfeuer, trying to convince them she’s one of them to get information for something or another.
