Monroe and Rosalee’s relationship has to be one of the healthiest, most developed, and most supportive I’ve ever seen depicted on television.

After a year of getting to know each other and working together, and then another year of dating, it finally came down to this fantastic moment. This proposal was absolutely perfect. I can’t watch it without tearing up a little.

And what makes it even better in retrospect is that the show managed to avoid the pitfalls a lot of shows encounter when one of their major couples ties the knot. Monroe and Rosalee are never written with any of the cringe-worthy marital tropes other TV couples suffer through. They’re amazing together, not just a couple, but a team, and I can’t imagine this show without them.

Am I the only one who really hopes we get a Rosalee and Juliette hug? Like, I really need Rosalee pulling Juliette in tight and just holding her, because her best friend is *back* and she’s *real*… like… I need that. I need Rosalee saying “I really missed you,” and Juliette saying, “I missed you too.” and the two friends finally being reuinted and…. AM I THE ONLY ONE LOOKING FORWARD TO A ROSALLEE AND JULIETTE HUG???

No, you definitely aren’t, anon! I would LOVE to see a Rosalee and Juliette reunion! Especially since Rosalee is the only person who seems to feel bad at all about what happened to Juliette, I’d love to see her reaction to realizing her friend is back, and I would LOVE it if there’s a big hug between them to show that they’re okay again, that they both have their best friend back.
