Hello!! I’ve been a Grimm fan since before season 1 finished, but only recently did I figure out there might have been a tumblr fanbase for it. Do you have any blog recommendations? Also I love your blog!

Uhh, there’s not so many Grimm-only blogs as there used to be.

@thegrimmnetwork

@wuyougottasaveus

are the only ones I can think of off-hand, but there are plenty of people (including the mods here) whose personal blogs are mainly Grimm.

Hey!! I wonder, what happened yo nicks enhanced abilities after the situation with the fish wessen from season 3 or 4 i dont remember, do you know?

I’m not sure which fish Wesen you mean, friend.

His abilities first became enhanced after he was zombified by the Cracher-Mortel, based on a puffer fish. That gave him enhanced metabolism, and what we’ve sort of called StoneForm Nick, where he appears dead. That settled down until it only came into play when Nick was either suffocated by the Santa Claus Wesen whose name escapes me, and when he began to drown whilst saving the Naiad, which is what I think you’re referring to.

The other ability he picked up was enhanced hearing after he was temporarily blinded by the fly Wesen whose name also escapes me. That also settled down but is constantly present, just not pointed out every episode.

If either of these abilities is not what you meant, send me a little more detail if you can and I’ll dig it out for you. I just can’t remember any other fish Wesen, besides the one in the episode ‘Octopus Head’ but he left no lasting mark on Nick as far as I’m aware.

Hey so you inspired me to rewatch Grimm and I just watched the Bee lady episode of the YMCA flash mob and Melissa said she was there to warn nick that “he” was coming for him. Something bad is gonna happen. WHAT WAS IT ???? I don’t remember

Ooooh.

Could be Eric or Baron Samedi, sent by Eric, who zombified him. Could also mean Sean Renard, whose motives were even more unclear in the first season. Could also have meant Kimura, who came after Nick for the coins at the end of the first season.

Could even mean his son, not yet conceived at that point.

However, anything related to the Mellifer (bee people) apart from their enemy, the Hexenbiests, has apparently been forgotten about, so who knows?

Hey, I’ve just started watching Grimm, I’m halfway through the first season, is there anything I should worry about like does it get sadder throughout the series like with supernatural just so I can get myself emotionally ready for it.

You should be fine until S4 – the earlier seasons, especially 1 and 2 mixed the darkness and sadness with humour very well. S4 is a lot darker, but still good.

Grimm also contains lots of storylines about rape, and sometimes they aren’t addressed very well. There is also the blood and gore you would expect from a show like this. If there’s anything specific you would like to be warned about, let us know.

You have a really good music taste:) love your blog also… (your theories are really interesting). Do you think Kelly is dead or alive by the way?

Thanks! I’m sure the other mods are pleased too.

Me, personally, I think she must be. You don’t tend to come back from a head in a box, and if the show starts to go down the miraculous resurrection every season route, it would be a poor move. Sometimes death is death and has to stay that way – much as I love Kelly, I think she is dead.
