I…don’t know that it would make much sense or fit into the dozen episodes we have left, I mean that’s talking about a whole character being introduced and starting a relationship in like half a season, and Nick being jealous would seem…weird.

He’s always treated Trubel kind of like a younger sister, so his being jealous of her new love interest would kind of squick me out a little. And I mean, too, the guy has enough to deal with already without preoccupying himself with who Trubel dates.

Also, I personally have always read Trubel as queer so if a hot Grimm did show up, no reason it has to be a guy. 😉

Hiiii guys, happy (a little late) new year !! Are you all excited(or fearing) for the new episode ? Do you guys have any theories for the series finale ? Mari.

We are VERY excited! I dunno about the other admins, but I have very few theories. One of my favorite things about Grimm is that they have always kept me guessing. But I do have a few things I fully expect:

  1. We will finally see what kind of powers baby Kelly has.
  2. It will be confirmed that Juliette is back or at least that Juliette/Eve are not quite so separate anymore.
  3. Sean Renard will be dead by season’s end.

Mostly I just really want to see what that Stick of Destiny’s consequences are.

So, I want to ask one thing : Since Meisner had that ”awesome”(see the irony) idea of sending Trubel away from Nick, is Trubel continuing on this season after tonight’s ep ? Because I’m really worried about what could happened with her after tonight’s ep. And I’m saying this as a fan of this amazing character. Mari.

It’s hard to say one way or the other. On the one hand, IMDB doesn’t have Jacqueline listed for any of the episodes of the season past this one. On the other hand, this doesn’t necessarily mean anything.

I’ve actually started to wonder if they might have a bigger story in mind for Trubel during the latter half of this season. There’s nothing in particular that makes me wonder this except all the things they’re NOT saying in the show with regards to Trubel’s loyalties, her feelings toward HW versus Team Grimm, whatever happened to Josh, what convinced her to join HW, etc, etc.

Well, that and the fact that she’s been posting a few BTS photos on Instagram, but they’re few and far between, and always very vague photos that could be from any episode. Whenever the cast start getting quiet or secretive on social media, I start to think shit’s about to get real in the show. I blame Bitsie for this reaction, entirely. 😛

I will say that I hope she sticks around and maybe even gets promoted to a series regular by next season, because she’s one of my favorite characters.

What I would liked see in the show : some reference about the legend of Laughing Jack(and playing Pop Goes the Weasel on the background) or a wesen which is a doll, but with a spirit of some evil witch inside the doll. Weird, right ? Mari.

Okay…so doing a Laughing Jack (or basically any creepypasta) episode would be fantastic. I would also be unable to liveblog it because I’d be watching from under a blanket with my hands over my eyes.

And what do you admins think about Trubnick(or Truhardt, whatever :P ) , aka my new shipper <3 <3 <3 ? You admins think it could be a possibility of Nick and Trubel being endgame(and a badass Grimm couple) *-* ? Mari.

I personally don’t ship it. The 10+ years’ worth of an age gap would be problematic for some people on its own, but for me the thing that makes me not want to ship it romantically is the fact that Nick effectively rescued Trubel, kept her from being arrested for murder, and that sense of gratitude makes for a bigger power imbalance than the age gap alone, which I’m uncomfortable with.

I think to some extent, it depends on the perspective of the shipper. I’m right between Nick’s age and Trubel’s, so I would feel weird shipping a girl barely old enough to be out of college with a guy my age, much less someone who had a few years on me. And I think fans of any age have a responsibility to consider the ramifications of age and power dynamics in what they ship, the fanworks they produce, and how they interact with younger fans.

That being said, for a fan who’s Trubel’s age and shipping Trubel with Nick, I understand it a little better. A lot of young people find themselves attracted to people quite a bit older than they are (see my massive crushes on celebrities from Jensen Ackles to Tom Cavanagh, the latter of which is older than my own father). And having a place like fanfiction to explore that safely is, to my mind, a good thing.

Where my worries start is with the notion of the writers making anything romantic between Trubel and Nick canon. That’s a context I’m not comfortable with.

Ca you please, please, please, put the gifs of Nick and Trubel scenes ? David and Jacqueline in a scene together is not good to me, definitelly. The hospital scene from The Rat King tells me, I am still with the feels of that scene ! Because, well : you are at a hospital bed, David Giuntoli visits you, squeezes your hand and… you die again e.e okay, I stop, hahaha Mari.

I’m going to get right on those today! Those are the last scenes from the episode I want to gif. I had to give my poor crappy laptop a break last night, Photoshop was slowly killing it.

Hi there @sweetweasleygirl, admin Liz here! I don’t think Eve is evil. According to this interview with Bitsie, evil isn’t the right word. Focused and weaponized sound like more appropriate descriptors. I’m looking forward to seeing where they go with it!

I, personally, don’t ship Nadalind. I don’t mind them getting along for the sake of the child, but their history is to violent and filled with non-consensual actions for me to ever be able to ship them. I have no issue with Adalind coming over to the light side and trying to redeem herself, but I won’t ever be able to get behind a Nadalind romantic relationship (whether it becomes canon or not.)

I adore Adalind, and LOVE Claire Coffee, but I’ll always been Silverhardt at… well, heart.
